​Betsy Pruitt is the founder of Education Navigation and a trusted advisor for students navigating the journey to college, graduate, and professional school admissions. With over 30 years of experience as an educator, counselor, and consultant, Betsy offers unparalleled expertise, deep compassion, and a personalized approach to every student and family she serves.

A lifelong educator and strategic thinker, Betsy has supported hundreds of clients in gaining admission to top undergraduate and graduate programs nationwide, specializing in fields such as dentistry, physician assistant, PT, OT, medical school and mental health. She guides students through every stage of the complex admissions process, providing tailored tools and resources to keep them on track from start to finish.

Betsy is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), where she currently serves as Chair of the Graduate School Committee and the Allied Health Committee, and as a member of the Education & Training Committee. She played a key role in developing the curriculum for the IECA Business Growth Institute and serves as faculty and mentor to fellow consultants.

In addition to her consulting work, Betsy has taught more than 15 courses in college admissions and career planning at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, reflecting her passion for training and mentoring the next generation of Independent Educational Consultants amid the constantly evolving admissions landscape.

Betsy holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Evansville and a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from the Bank of America Institute at Cornell University. She resides in Indiana, working with students and families across the United States.

Outside of professional life, Betsy enjoys traveling, boating, reading, and exploring new places with family, friends, and her Goldendoodle, Reggie.
